• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from lorries, ensuring proper stacking and storage procedures.
• Safely transport, stage, and organize palletized products within the warehouse.
• Safely transport materials to designated storage areas.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, always wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with warehouse and worksite crew to fulfil material handling requirements and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear and free of obstacles.

• Valid forklift operator license and proven experience in operating forklifts.
• Strong emphasis on safety, adhering to established safety protocols and promoting a safe working environment.
• Excellent understanding of forklift operations, including loading, unloading, and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions.
